For 6 weeks I was blessed to work along side Walt and Eva Langston of the ministry "Extensions of Jesus" in their work in Mexico. I was given the opportunity to preach and translate at a youth camp, and in churches in 7 different cities and towns in 4 different Mexican states.

I was also able to go into the new prison in the city of San Luis Potosi to share the love of Jesus with some of the prisoners there. Two prisoners were ready to commit their lives to the Lord before I had even given the invitation!

The Mexican Church is so strong in many places. Even in the poorest areas of Mexico, the Word of God is shared with fervor. I marvel at the faithfulness of the people and the many ways in which God is blessing His people.

It is amazing to be able to have church one day in the desert under a sanctuary made up of tree limbs and leaves; and then another day to be in a brand new air-conditioned building with wall-to-wall carpeting in one of Mexico's largest cities.

Sharing Jesus' Love in Motobatha, Mexico

Regardless, the people there love the Lord and they are doing all they can to reach their world and the rest of the world for Jesus. Many of the churches do not need deep training in the Word, as they already have so much good teaching available to them. What many do need, however, is someone to encourage them and tell them to keep on going. The Lord will be faithful in the work that He has given them.

That is so often the message that I am able to take and I praise the Lord that He sent me there and He used you to help! I thank you so very much for being a part of what the Lord is doing through "Still Small Voice Ministries".

You also helped me to be able to serve two wonderful servants of God who have dedicated their lives to the Lord's work in Mexico. Please pray for "Extensions of Jesus" as well, when the Holy Spirit urges. Walt and Eva are doing a great work for the Lord.

I also wish to congratulate Walt and Eva's son, Sammy, as he and his new bride, Martha, have started their new life together. I know that the Lord will guide them as they help in God's ministry in Mexico. I am so glad that I was blessed to be part of their wedding while I was there and know that the Lord Jesus has only good plans for them.
